About Heavyweight HiFlow™ Tubes

Ideal for inlet protection in high water flow areas, our HiFlow™ Tubes are a convenient, reusable, and effective geotextile sediment control BMP. We created these tubes as an alternative to the back-breaking and expensive solutions our industry is using to protect drains. We are proud of the way they both flow AND filter water and we know you will be impressed with how lightweight they are.

NO-HASSLE

  • The Heavyweight HiFlow™ Tubes are extremely easy to install or remove. Not only are they lightweight (47lbs per 8ft section), but they are equipped with handles every 2ft.
  • The tubes are made with a secure Velcro closure. This makes reopening and cleaning very simple and fast.
  • The HiFlow™ Tubes exceed industry SWPPP requirements for effective and long-lasting sediment control BMPs.
  • Our tubes are sold empty and you can fill them with a variety of filter media such as crumb rubber, mulch, or wood chips.
  • There are two sizes available to meet your needs: 4ft tubes (11”x48”) or 8ft tubes (11”x96”).
  • The HiFlow™ Tubes can be ordered in high-visibility orange or forest green.
  • The lightweight design and ease-of-installation make the HiFlow™ Tubes workers’ compensation friendly.

EFFECTIVE

  • The Heavyweight HiFlow™ Tubes effectively flow and filter water, eliminating ponding. They are manufactured with a single-layer, open-mesh geotextile for maximum flow rate.
  • We recommend using crumb rubber for its ideal weight and filtration capabilities. Tested with crumb rubber fill (ASTM 3977c*), the HiFlow™ Tubes showed 84% sediment filtration and 39.1% turbidity reduction.
  • Not only can our tubes be used for curbside drain inlet protection, but they work to contain material stockpiles as well.
  • When protecting a drain on an incline, the HiFlow™ Tube is flexible to fit the shape needed.

REUSABLE

  • Reuse the Heavyweight HiFlow™ Tubes over multiple jobsites and drastically reduce your annual cost. Stop frequently replacing common gravel bags made of imported materials, chicken wire structures, or combinations of multiple products.

DURABLE

  • The Heavyweight HiFlow™ Tubes are made 100% in USA for lasting performance.
  • The geotextile material is highly UV resistant. We also use marine-bonded thread for maximum strength.
