Heavyweight HiFlow™ Tubes for Installers
You have undoubtedly spent way too much money on drain inlet protection materials and labor. Perhaps you have even dealt with a worker’s compensation claim from common imported gravel bags or chicken wire structures. Well, we have good news! Our HiFlow™ Tubes are lightweight, reusable, and will keep your costs down and your stormwater inspectors happy.
How the Heavyweight HiFlow™ Tubes Help Your Workers
- These tubes are extremely easy to install or remove, weighing in at only 47lbs per 8ft section. We have included looped handles every 2ft.
- The HiFlow™ Tubes are flexible and can fit whatever shape you need. This is especially handy on an incline, when a “J” shape is needed.
- Reopening and cleaning the tubes when it comes time to reuse them is made easy by the Velcro closure.
How the Heavyweight HiFlow™ Tubes Help Your Costs
- Drastically reduce your annual costs by reusing the HiFlow™ Tubes over multiple jobsites.
- They do need replaced as often as alternative products as they are made 100% in the USA for lasting performance. The geotextile material is highly UV-resistant and the thread marine-bonded.
- You can purchase the tubes empty to fill with filter media of your choice.
- The Heavyweight HiFlow™ Tubes exceed the industry requirements for long-lasting and effective sediment control BMPs, so your inspector will not require you to change products.
- The HiFlow™ Tubes can also be used to contain material stockpiles.
HiFlow™ Tubes are Effective Sediment Control BMPs
- No need to worry about ponding or backed up water with these tubes. They are best at areas with high water flow as they both flow and filter water. They are made with a single-layer, open-mesh geotextile.
- Field-tested (ASTM 3977c*) with crumb rubber, the HiFlow™ Tubes showed 84% sediment filtration and 39.1% turbidity reduction.
You can purchase our HiFlow™ Tubes in high-visibility orange or forest green in either a 4ft size (11”x48”) or an 8ft size (11”x96”).
